Abstract
Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) systems are increasingly targeted by DDoS attacks. This work presents a fog computing based approach to mitigate DDoS attacks in IIoT environments, leveraging distributed fog nodes to detect and filter malicious traffic before it reaches critical infrastructure.
