An Investigation of Byzantine Threats in Multi-Robot Systems
Abstract
Multi-robot systems are increasingly deployed in critical applications, from autonomous warehouses to search-and-rescue operations. However, the security of such systems against Byzantine attacks remains understudied. This work presents a comprehensive investigation of Byzantine threats in multi-robot systems, demonstrating how compromised robots can disrupt collective operations and proposing detection mechanisms.
